Philippines Candle Project

This candle was created to help bring light & hope to women trapped in human trafficking & sexual exploitation in the Philippines. We chose the name ‘Sampaguita’, also known as Jasmine, because it is the national flower of the Philippines and grows wild and free across the landscape like all young girls should be able to do. 50% of every candle purchase will go towards helping The SA Foundation’s new recovery home & program in Northern Luzon open its doors this year. 

Each Candle is made with premium soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils and was hand-poured by a survivor of human trafficking & exploitation in Vancouver, BC. Providing her with a safe & fair-paid job as she works through fully healing from her past trauma & towards her future goals.
